There are no entry forms for PI Evaluations. Please read the Resizing Instruction carefully.
Up to three images may be entered in Projected Image Evaluation. JPG files should be saved in the following manner, in the correct naming convention:
A or B grade, entrant's name, and image title - be advised that there is a limit to the length of the file name, but you will be advised of this when uploading if you exceed the file length in which case you may need to shorten your image title.
Eg: A joe smith red door.jpg or Eg: B j smith red door.jpg
Files should be saved in the sRGB colour space.
Please DO NOT number your images, eg: A1, A2, A3. Files should be a maximum of 1mb.
RESIZING FOR PROJECTED IMAGES
Resizing Your Images:
Image Dimensions should not exceed 1920 pixels wide x 1200 pixels high. Go to "Image - Image Size". In the Image Size window, make sure "Constrain Proportions" is ticked. Change the pixel size only, ignore the Document size and Resolution.
For a Portrait oriented image, decrease the height only, to 1200 pixels. The width will adjust accordingly.
For a Landscape oriented image, reduce the width to 1920 pixels. If the height is more than 1200 pixels, it must then be further reduced to 1200px high and the width will adjust itself. In the dropdown box at the bottom, select Bicubic Sharper (best for reduction). OK.
To save the file, go to "File - Save As". In the window that opens, locate the folder where you'll keep your Projected Images. The file should be saved in the same manner shown above:
Make sure you select jpg in the Format drop-down box under the file name.
Click Save. In the Jpg Options window, use the slider to change the size of the file. Start with the slider at 12 and move it to the left until the file size reaches a maximum of 2 mb.
